The Sardinian goat has always been raised in the most difficult and marginal areas of Sardinia, where it adapts with great ease to harsh territories and poor pastures. Traditionally, it exploits spaces not used by sheep and sometimes shares grazing areas with Sardinian cattle, representing a fundamental resource for the balance of the island's rural ecosystems.
