The Ogliastrina olive, also known as Nostrana, is a traditional variety from Ogliastra and belongs to a broad group of clones widespread across Sardinia. Depending on the area, it is known by different names: Nera di Oliena or Olianedda in Oliena, Olia ’e Paschixedda in the Lower Campidano, Parteolla and Sulcis, and Nera di Villacidro in the Villacidro area, reflecting the island’s rich local diversity and olive-growing traditions.
