The Miali apple tree is a historic native variety of Sardinia, widespread across the island but originating from and most commonly found in the province of Sassari. The fruits ripen between late September and early October, depending on the cultivation area. Valued for its high productivity, attractive appearance, and excellent organoleptic qualities, the Miali apple is included among the Traditional Agri-food Products (PAT) of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia.
