Description
The Asinara donkey is a native breed native to the island of the same name, easily recognisable by its small size and characteristic white coat. The pink skin and pinkish-blue eyes are due to a form of oculocutaneous albinism, which makes this breed unique and a symbol of Sardinia's biodiversity.
